Your stats are incorrect and you put them in order and Minneapolis isn't on there even though the entire city has a density of 7,245 which is denser the any zip code in Charlotte. Try checking your facts because a lot of the area codes on your list are not the densist for the cities in which they are in.

It looks like you are using the zip code stats from the 2000 census. The 59,251 number you quoted for zip code 60626 in Chicago is from year 2000. The population decreased in that zip code to 50,139 in 2010. Chicago decreased in overall population from 2000 to 2010 by 200,418 as well as a decrease (some significant) in the zip codes.
I added Minneapolis although I mentioned to you earlier that my list was not an exhaustive list encompassing all cities. The title says "Select U.S. Cities" (i.e. the ones I selected). By the way, the Minneapolis stats you quoted a few posts ago for zip code 55404 was also from the 2000 census. There was a decrease in population in zip code 55404 as well.
I'm finding out a lot of Chicago's zip codes have a lot of water area, which I failed to take out. The source I am using for the 60626 has the 2010 population for this zip code at 50,139, which gives 29,321/sq. mi. in 1.71 sq. mi.
I should take out the Chicago 60601 zip code and replace it with the 60660 zip code, which has a population density of 33,400 with a population of 42,752 in 1.28 sq. mi. of land.
