What state is good for water sports/activities but also is very pro 2nd amendment like Texas? I want to plan a vacation. I like the water activities, but most of that will be done in the morning to early afternoon. I will probably have some time to spare, so I figure I may as well sharpen my shooting skills. Is there a state with both and promotes hunting for tourism too.

The correct answer would be, Alaska. No other state comes close to the combination of the quality of water recreation and firearm-friendliness of AK (no gun permits necessary there).

South Carolina. Lot of lakes, pro 2nd amendment.

Lake Keowee and Lake Jocasee are pristine lakes with clear water and at base of mountains.

I thought about Vermont and perhaps water activities on Lake Champlain may work.
