I am planning to relocate from Milwaukee, WI to another state...
I am African American, 35 y.o w/4 children ranging from 5-16 y.o..
I am have done some research I am thinking Charlotte, N.C, Charleston, S.C, Las Vegas or ATL...
I am just looking for change from Wisconsin, so much crime etc..
I was very interested in Charlotte, NC but, NC but I hear mixed reviews that it's very boring. I don't mind a quiet city but still would like some type of nightlife for myself as well as activities for my children.

North Carolina, Vegas is not a place in which it would be ideal to raise kids. NC = great schools, community, low cost of living, great weather, and southern hospitality.
Vegas really doesn't have any hospitality, no sense of community unless you live in a gated community I guess.

Yeah, you're not really qualified to have an opinion about Las Vegas. You have a very limited and myopic view.
