For me Milwaukee is roughly at the same latitude as Sapporpo, Japan and Sukhumi, Georgia. Are there any major cities sharing roughly the same latitude as yours?

Omaha, Des Moines, Chicago, Cleveland, Barcelona, and Tblisi are all roughly at the same latitude.

An interesting latitude fact is that the southernmost tip of Great Britain (near Penzance)is about 20 miles north of the northernmost tip of the contiguous United States at Angle Inlet, MN.

That's pretty cool. I never noticed how we are further south we are from Great Britain.

For Austin at around 30 degrees north latitude, we are about even with

New Orleans
Cairo
Delhi
Shanghai
Marrakesh
