Lol, if he is talking geologically then Delaware probably separated from New Jersey millions of years ago!

In a few millions years, there won't be a New Jersey or a Delaware to speak of.

Northeast:

Maine
Connecticut
Rhode Island
Vermont
Massachussetts
New Hampshire
Delaware
New York
Maryland
Pennsylvania
New Jersey

I'm sure someone will hop on and start droning on about how Delaware is a true southern state. Yeah sure thing kid!

All eleven states, perfect 100% score! Next time for extra credit you could put New York at the top.

Regarding Delaware and Maryland, some people feel strongly they are Southern states (which is why I put an asterisk next to their names). I have never seen anyone from Delaware say anything about it but there are posters who live in Maryland who insist that Maryland is Southern.

I can't see how people would notice the differences once they cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge when they are coming from either NYC or DC, which both of them are only 2 hours away from the bridge.

I notice a difference just going from Clearwater to Lakeland FL and you know what? That's in the same state and about a 45 mile drive!

Florida has nothing to do with the Northeast other than being part of the same nation. Florida is a southeastern state.
