Again, learn to read. You are addressing a point that I never made.
The rest of us are addressing the stated topic of "beautiful places," which means "scenic" places. Where does "unique" come in other than your addled brain? Please stay on topic!

Derp.

I was responding specifically to a poster who said there was nothing else like the Grand Canyon in the world,I proved that the scale of the Grand Canyon is far from unique. You got your panties twisted about me saying things I never said.

Go back and look.

There are more beautiful beaches nearby in closer proximity in CA cities/West Coast.

I do agree with you about a lot of the West having tok many cars and sprawling cities though.

Lotta defensive Easterners on here. I don't find the East more beautiful than the West, and I hope I don't get chewed out for sharing my opinion on the Internet.

Nope, sharing an opinion is fine.
It's when people start stating that west is hands down better than east, like it's some sort of provable fact, or implying that people who prefer east over west must be either blind or crazy that easterners start getting defensive.

You won't.

You simply answered the question, so thank you for that.

What does this link have to do with the topic of the thread? This isn't an East coast vs. West coast thread.

Hmm, raven, the initial question asked if anyone felt the east was more beautiful than the west. If you follow the thread many different topics and aspects of both coasts were discussed. That is why I shared the link.
