That's the point I try to make. On this issue, the U.S. is not socially where it was even a few years ago.

I say we have already reached the tipping point now that Virginia has legalized same-sex marriage. There is no going back.

Because I can care about multiple things all at the same time. And vice versa, if it's such an unimportant issue, then why all the strong opposition to it?
