Name a city or cities that are Romantic to you. For example, I would say that San Francisco is a very Romantic city. There is no right or wrong answer here so feel free to fire away with your own opinion. I would also say that Victoria, British Columbia is Romantic.

NYC. Setting of most romantic comedies.

Lake Chautauqua, Niagara Falls, New Orleans, Key West, Charleston, Gettysburg, Franklin (PA), Blowing Rock (NC), and Beaufort (SC). Haven't been to Savannah but I have only heard good things.

The city has an aura. Sometimes at night it feels as though you are in a different century. That can be kind of romantic for us history buffs. I haven't been there in years so it might have become too touristy.

Great suggestions so far! Some others I'll add:

Philadelphia (Rittenhouse Square)
Seattle
Aspen
Traverse City
Portland (Maine)
Quebec City (if we count Canada)

I've never been, but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Honolulu yet.
