I flew into Houston (the nation's 4th largest city) on my way to Galveston, but since I didn't visit the city proper, it doesn't count as per the terms of the OP. Otherwise, the largest city I've never even laid eyes on is San Antonio (No. 7). Of the nation's 30 largest cities, the only one I haven't seen, aside from the two named above, is Austin (No. 11).
Los Angeles. In fact, LA is the only city in the U.S. with a population of over one million that I have not been to.
