I have a misdemeanor warrent issued on Nebraska but I live in Texas right now. I want to issue a drivers license but I am worried if I might be arrested if I go to the DPS nearby. My lawyer is working on my warrent right now but when I asked him about this he told me that different states have different rule and he is not much familiar with the rules of Texas. So can anybody help me that if I would be arrested if I try to issue a license in TX?

Licences are all tied into a National Data Base. I found out the hard way when I was pulled over and told my CA licence was suspended because of an unpaid ticket in NY (under a NY Drivers licence) for an expired inspection sticker - 10 years after I received my CA licence.

It took me 6 months to clear it up. but only cost me $70

Not sure if you would be arrested. Depends on what you did.
