Denver's fairly bug-free, indoors and out. Mosquitoes are minimal. The only bugs I've ever seen in the house has been the occassional tiny spider and ants once, after my son had dumped an entire bag of sugar all over the main level. Never a cockroach or anything big.
Anytime ive been to the mountain west I saw few bugs. If you go north in the mountain west, say to like Montana or Idaho I bet those areas have the least bugs of all. When I was in Bozeman on a vacation I rarely saw anything that crawls. Now the Grizzly bears may attack you, or you could end up cat food for a mountain lion, but your safe from mosquitos.
