LOL life is too short to live in the midwest. I never met anyone who aspires to live there.

Yet there are 66 million of us. We don't need you, so that's just fine.

I think real estate prices confirm this. I can't think of any other reason why someone would want to live in Ohio or Oklahoma other than the fact that it's dirt cheap compared to most of the East/West coast.

LA county has more people than every midwest state but Illinois.

Midwest states have low population because hardly anyone wants to live there. Half the people that do live there do so for family reasons. The rest are stuck.

You bet. I'm not going to argue with you any more, because you can think what you want.

Those aren't the only reasons. Some people are sexually attracted to cornfields and tractors. I know plenty of guys who like plowing and plenty of girls (and guys) who like getting plowed .

And Midwest cities, those are great for people who are into the sport of dodging bullets. Chicago, St. Louis, and Detroit are also really exciting for crime detectives who want more challenging careers. It seems like the Midwest never received the large drop in crime that many of the East Coast cities like NYC, Boston, and D.C experienced in the 1990s and 2000s.

I should've said that I don't care much for rural areas anywhere, but you have to admit that the rural parts of the midwest probably aren't going to be as scenic as elsewhere.

Because you can sit in your cheap house all day and eat, drink, and play video games. You don't need that second job (that you have to commute another 45 minutes to) to simply make ends meet.
