Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And believe it or not, there are some out there who find Nebraska to be more beautiful than Tuscany.

Wow! Other people think differently than you! Who would have guessed?!

One of the most mysterious and evocative landscapes I have ever experienced are the Sandhills of Nebraska. If you traverse the state on I-80 you will miss it. It's a huge area that covers most of the state. I highly recommend anyone driving cross country to get off the interstate and take a trip through the Sandhills.

Yes, exactly. Some people KNOW THEIR COMMENT WILL ADD STRIFE?? I think they do it for some need TO inflict THE SHOCK VALUE of their comment. IT THEN SOMEHOW GRATIFIES THEM. When it is in so many threads with these people. Some can be labeled Trolls or they are just very angry people?

Why does the midwest get so much hate?

1) Climate
2) Hot dish
3) It helps people on the coasts feel better about paying 4x as much for housing

Climate generally sucks, never heard of "hot dish", and low housing prices is a disadvantage, not an advantage. You want real estate in Silicon Valley or Youngstown?

70% of Americans are homeowners. They want housing appreciation, not flat or declining prices.
