Hello ,
I definitely need help...We will be moving to USA in the next year. My husband is retired and I am running my own business in our home country and I will probably move it also or will travel a lot internationally. We are currently living in a very big city, lots of social-cultural activities, great transportation system. I have been searching over the internet where we can settle, but I am lost. Our criteria:
1. great public schools (elementary and high school)
2. safe, low crime and drug, friendly and preferrably international neighborhood
3. good health system
4. easy transportation and close to international airport will be great
5. good shops and cultural activities, places for children, parks, zoo
6. warm weather and seaside
7. low taxes and cost of living as we will rely on one income
8. Around 100,000 USD house prices for 3 bedroom
9. Do not like driving much
I lived in NJ-Union City for a while but definitely not my dream place other than being very close to Manhattan. And we lived in Toronto- I loved it but my husband hates cold!
Virginia seems nice for now but could not figure out where in Virginia...Or any other suggestions ???

I cannot think of any place in the US that has all that you want, listed above AND a $100,000 three bedroom house. That is the killer. Maybe others here have different thoughts or experiences, but for that price I think you are generally limited to trailer parks, substandard housing, or nice homes is rural, isolated, or poor neighborhoods -- unless you mean that you have a down-payment of $100,000, in which case many options are open to you. But if that is all you have and need the space for two children I would recommend renting instead, and pearhaps you can find something reasonable, maybe somewhere on the southeast Atlantic Coast or the Gulf Coast.

Actually 100,000 is not a must. Let's say 100,000 to 250,000 depending on the neighbourhood and close to schools...
