***Disclamier***

Please, do not harm oneself or others in the process of capturing pictures of your city, no photo is worth the risk.
Also, if in an moving automobile by yourself, do not take your eyes off your task, in order to later describe a city's views online. Again, it's not worth the risk.

-Thanks,

Rwarky

Coming from the airport in Pittsburgh to downtown, emerging from the Fort Pitt Tunnel and crossing the Fort Pitt Bridge has got to be one of the most dramatic entries to a CBD - for a passenger, that is. If you're driving, stick to that task for sure...

The bridges at Harrisburg over the Susquehanna River, especially the Harvey Taylor and Walnut Street bridges show panoramas of the skyline and the Appalachian ridge behind. The State St Viaduct coming from the east is a dramatic framing of the State Capitol building.

New Orleans from I-10 west entering the city. Also the Crescent City Connection Bridge. Then you have flyover ramps where you can see New Orleans from the suburb of Kenner. You also can see it coming from the Lake Pontchartrain Bridge. I love the I-10 west approach because you get to see the skyline in its entirety from the most part. Its not the tallest but it does stretch a bit.
