Us Washingtonians will just keep having our 420 parades daily, doing massive bong rips and blowing smoke into the faces of all the bystanders, while we indoctrinate our youth by forcing them to watch back-to-back Cheech and Chong movies, "Dude Where's My Car?", and "Pineapple Express"... in a smoke-filled, windowless room filled with black light posters. No one gets to enter our state without passing a stoner test. All eyes must be beet-red and glazed over. Because, you know, that's just how we roll.

A friend's family moved from Denver to Maine because they have two daughters and didn't want them growing up around pot culture day in and day out. I can understand that.
Food for thought. I didn't think about the impact on children, it would be difficult to make a move to a different state once you are a pot smoker. Since it would instantly make you a criminal. If you raised a child in a state where pot was legal, they smoked it, and then felt trapped. They could only move to CO or WA to keep up the practice.
Could be limiting.
I think that I would be more likely to consider avoiding a state where guns are more accessible.
There are plenty of people who do avoid my state because of this. Plenty more who are attracted to it for the same reason. If you own guns or smoke pot it is limiting your choices of places to live in this country. It's becoming that way with healthcare as well.
It's almost like a nation of small countries with differing rules as of late.

Yea this is the bad thing about CO and WA. If you got into it, you'd be trapped and forced to stay put. All those pot smokers can go there for all I care, I just don't want to be anywhere like that. Plus the passive aggressiveness in those places are off the charts. Denver might slightly differ from Seattle for instance but not enough if you're from back east. The west is all the same crap to me and next thing you know, UT will change into the same thing too.
