Phoenix also has Arizona State University and The University of Arizona satellite campuses downtown. I think the ASU campus has 4 year programs.

These are the top five cities without any four-year institutions (for profit or not). Modesto is the only city on the list that is not a suburb within a larger MSA.

1. Gilbert, AZ (pop: 230,000)
2. North Las Vegas, NV (pop: 229,000)
3. Modesto, CA (Pop: 201,000)
4. Corona, CA (pop: 153,000)
5. Patterson, NJ (pop: 146,000)
