well I didn't feel like staying when I got there...I think I chose the wrong town. There were tons of college kids, and I started thinking back to when I was 19-21, and I just got the worst images in my mind, and totally lost interest of merging with this population. Yea it was a mistake, I didn't even get off of the bus...I need to find a town with a lesser population, and less college kids...the school has more than 25,000 students, it felt like too much. Plus I wasn't all that impressed with Ohio. And on the way down there were a few people going to Tennessee, South Carolina and I started thinking maybe I'll go south instead...at least chase some good weather or something.
This was definitely a mistake and I lost a good chunk of money on it. But next time I'm gonna travel with megabus and save mega dollars. Until then I'm back to the drawing board...
You wont get anything for free here in Tennessee. We actually expect people to support themselves, imagine that. There is no welcome mat rolled out here for freeloaders. Oh we vote conservative here just to make sure government is not abused by people who don't want to pull their own weight.

Can you at least offer him a cotton picking position?
yea my bad for down talking Ohio...I just got the feeling that it wasn't the place for me. I think every state sucks, so you might as well choose the one that will help pay your rent, and NY is okay for that
Why should any state help pay someone's rent??? I cant stand the freeloading mentality, the people in New York state cant afford to pay for everyone who just decides to live off the dole. What happened to work ethic in this nation?, what happened to honor and self respect? It is better to turn burgers or dig ditches than it is to collect from the system. I absolutely respect someone who gets up and turns burgers, pays their bills etc. If the state is going to help anyone I would much rather it be the low payed burger turner than someone who does nothing. I say pay your own rent, or go live in a van down by the river, but don't expect the hard working tax payer to foot the bill. I am disgusted by this thread, I truly hope it is just a troll thread. This thread is a good reminder of why I need to get up and wait in line to vote, we cant have these people being rewarded by the government for their laziness.
nah you're just ignorant danielj72... willpower leads to wars and nationalism. Um, the person who leans on gov't assistance is effectively saving the planet from imminent death and destruction. OKay, I'll do 20 hours...but I won't be a slave to the 9 to 5 and contribute to the ending of planet E.
I'll probably have to do a similar thing soon. I can't stand living where I am anymore and need to leave asap. Since I don't have any marketable skills, I'll probably end up homeless where ever I go.
Working for money = war mongering nationalism. Great Scott! I guess you were not a waste of sperm after all! Thank you for clearing that up, young privileged person. And thanks for making so many sacrifices to save our society from the evils of accomplishment. You are a beam of hope in a world populated to the brim with disgusting, ignorant, working class swine. Perhaps when they re-instate slavery, we can finally relax, knowing that the real enemy, (paid workers) have been defeated. With all of the injustices done to privleged people across the globe, none is more sinister than the spectre of their young being forced to work like slaves, doing things that in reality, are a bummer.
