Occasionally I get stuck behind a tractor, or have to wait for cattle to cross the road. LOL

Lol! I guess that could be an agricultural traffic jam.

Pretty much! Traffic around here really isn't too bad.

Was on my way to Vegas recently from LA and the whole trip to 8 hours to get there. Google Maps said it was about a 5 hour trip, and it took us 4 to get back. Definitely a bunch of the weekenders as we were traveling on a Friday afternoon, but still, never seen so much traffic in a largely desolate area.

About 10 years ago, living in Southern California and commuting from South Pasadena to Calabasas (roughly 40 miles, one way). I was leaving work to go back home on a rainy day and heard that there was a big accident on 101 at around White Oak. I detoured around by taking Topanga Canyon to 118, then to 210, then streets back home. When I got on 118 (after about an hour), a car had flipped over on 118 and all traffic was stopped. Total commute home that day was 3 hours. I could have killed that idiot that flipped his car over on 118.

I saw a Youtube vid of a crazy day before Thanksgiving Day traffic jam that stretched for miles. Lit the sky up with a sea of red and white. Looked cool but sure wouldn't want to be caught in that mess!
