I couldn't care less. I want people to stop moving here, especially Los Angeles.
California is the best state to live in for a social worker, everyone wants to save the word in California. We need to address mental illness thou in the United States. The amount of homeless people in California was sad.

Still the best state to be a social worker or a mental health counselor, you will never lack for work.

agreed. The one and only reason. All the 'desirable' areas are too expensive.

its not as expensive as everyone thinks.
The only people that really complain are the self-centered, half crazed libertarian types, that would probably be happier in a place like Arizona anyway.

That's not entirely true. Fully-crazed conservative types and self-entitled liberal transplants also do their share of complaining. But yeah, they all suck just the same.

Yeah 600K for an average house price (Orange County), not expensive at all....

The entire state of California is not Orange County.

One can buy a two-story, spacious home in Lancaster, Fresno, etc. in the two or three-hundred thousand range.

Yeah but most people don't want to live there.
If you want to live anywhere desirable, you're paying at least 500K.

How do you know most people don't want to live in these cities? And even if we had statistics that proved your claim, it is irrelevant. People assume the entire state of California is expensive to live in, which is false.

Anywhere extremely popular and desirable is going to be expensive. That's not just a California thing.
