Say you just won the state lottery. You are worth about $250 Million now. Don't have to work anymore. Could do and live where ever you want.

So....if you were mega-rich now and had the choice to live anywhere in the USA...where would you live?

Where would be your PARADISE?

Big mansion in Uptown New Orleans, a condo in the CBD and a big new house in Houston.

Probably live in Manhattan for a year too.

But vacation on the ocean more often....when no hurricanes are on radar.

$250m? That's alot...My sights are more like $4-10mil..

I'd custom design a home (bowling lanes definitely necessary) here in Henderson, NV so I can stay close to the National Parks while avoiding state income tax.
I would also want a nice country home back by family in Wisconsin... No bowling alley there... More like lots of land for ATV riding, campfires and fresh air.

The list of cities on the poll itself are so random lol.
Kansas City?
Did I win the lottery or am I being punished?

Where I live now: San Francisco. But, maybe I would move to Pacific Heights or Nob Hill.

Maui, HI or Jackson, WY.

Kansas City??? If I wanted BBQ THAT badly, I could just hire a chef from KC.

Wow, the poll has very limited and unusual choices for having won the lottery. Great thread idea though.

I'd head straight for Maui and pick up my own piece of paradise, thank you. And if it was a multi million dollar payout I'd probably also have a nice property in Scottsdale or maybe Sedona for a mainland home.
