List your pronunciation and city, too.

I say it "car-mel" and not "cah-ra-mel" like some do in other parts. I am in Chicago, IL and it's pretty standard here.

What do you guys say?

This is a good one. I have found we are split in PA but lean towards "Car-ml". New Englanders defiantly say "Carra-mel"

I grew up saying car-mul. However, as a father/ teacher of three young children, I teach them to pronounce every syllable: care-uh-mel.
