I heard the greater Miami metro and Anchorage, Alaska metro will be combined by 2015.

I think FL may surprise soon. I dont think it would be too outrageous to say that almost the whole eastern side from JAX to MIA would be filled in, probably not by 2020 though. Tampa-Orlando-the east coast might connect.

With the way Florida's growth has cooled off, it may take a while. It really seemed like it would happen soon back in the early 00's, but not so much now.

Actually you should be happy that it is densely populated.

Not on is it not a waste, it is the MOST EFFICIENT use of the smallest space in which to house 20 million people.

I think you need a better understanding of the word "efficient". LA metro area is in no ay efficient.

Also, if you put your reading eyes on you would read this entire thread for a better understanding of what was meant by waste of space.
