This poll is misleading. Everyone is just gonna vote for the region they currently live in or are native to.

Just because you did doesn't mean everyone else will.

True, few people would be objective and would just choose their favourate region or the one they live in.

I think this is a thee-way tie between the Great Plains, the Great Lakes, and the Mountain West.

In terms of economy, COL, high wages, crime, schools, and healthcare, the Great Plains region takes the cake. The downside, is that it's probably the worst in the country in terms of natural beauty and does not offer much by way of culture or diversity.

The Mountain West makes up for what the Great Plains lack in terms of natural beauty, but this region also lacks culture and diversity, plus this region has poor physical infrastructure hindering its economic potential. Meth is a problem too.

The Great Lakes region makes up for what the Great Plains lack in terms of culture and diversity, but the Great Lakes lose points for not being as economically strong and for crime.
But, not all parts of the Great Lakes have high crime. And parts of the region are making an economic comeback. This region has good bones, a low cost of living, and actually offers things to do.

All things considered, I suppose my vote is going to go to the Great Lakes.

New England or the Pacific Northwest are the only two regions I'd live in.
