LA, California. Every runaway kid thinks they will be a movie star but they end up on the streets, hooking the streets, in porn or dead because they can't make a living because the cost of living is too high.

Technically, NYC is the worst in the nation on pure numbers, but given its size, don't think it's the most noticeable. Have to find the stats, but I think Los Angeles is the worst, pure capita wise. San Francisco is also pretty noticeable, given its small city limits, and D.C. is probably the most noticeable on the East coast.

So true. Another reason why I hate LA. Their minimum wage is laughable when compared to COL.
