Say how you pronounce it and also the region of the country you're from.

I pronounce it "ahn" and I'm from the Midwest (Chicago).

Ahn

I grew up in Arkansas but all my friends were from Chicago so I kind of have my own accent.

I feel like Southerners tend to say it more like "awn".

I feel like some Mountain Southern people will add extra vowels to words like "on"

'Awn' - like lawn, fawn, and bond. You know, the way it is supposed to be pronounced.

I pronounce it as "ahn" and I'm southern but have lived in Texas exclusively for twenty five years.'

Lots of Texans say "own" - as in, "Are we own for tonight?" Or "Don't forget to put your boots own!" Not all Texans of course, but I hear it pretty regularly and it always jars my ears a little.

"Turn tha lats own!"

Many Americans, especially in the West, have no idea what the difference is between "awn" and "ahn."

It's like asking what is the difference between "cot" and "caught."

They are pronounced the same in vast regions of the US.

I do know the difference, but I have degrees in linguistics and found this recurrent question interesting enough to research it. Your average Californian--forget it.

I think own is the more southern pronunciation of the word on (At least in Virginia). Example: what time is the show coming own? Many people say awn as well in Virginia.
