It hasn't rained in a month in what is supposed to be one of the wettest months of the year. If SF doesn't get any rain by Saturday it will be the first time it has never rained in January in recorded history.

It's sunny and mild but it's actually kind of depressing knowing how much we need rain and snow. Just saw pics of the Tahoe area taken recently and there is barely any snow there.

Bipolar...it got cold, then warm. November and December for the most part were cold. January was a mix. February looks like it should be around average. The long term forecast it pretty mild. The high today and tomorrow are near 70 and then in the 40s and 50s (highs...lows at or below freezing) for the long term.

Watertown NY- Very cold, mostly single digits or lower but sometimes getting in the twenties. Alot of lake effect snow, sometimes feet at a time. A usual northern NY winter I guess.

Flagstaff, AZ. We're normally known for silly amounts of snowfall (average over 100" / year).

Today, I was working outside with my shirt off... apparently winter has been cancelled until further notice.

Well they blew our forecast in NYC and NJ - they were promising over 2 feet of snow for NENJ eastward, with blizzard conditions. It was supposed to be a "historic storm." Everything closed in advance - schools, businesses, mass transit. Travel bans, states of emergency were enacted. The problem? We only got like 6 inches where I live. Also 6 inches in Central Park. Long Island and parts of New England got the high numbers.

Isn't it amazing to be a weatherman? Be so wrong and keep your job?

Now they're saying - "We were wrong, haha sorry!" Yeah, oops.
