Too many whiners on here, I swear!

Branson is what it is... a tourist trap (not unlike Wisconsin Dells). Theres some neat attractions, amusement parks, and all the shows you can shake a stick at. Its nestled in the Ozarks, so the natural scenery is quite attractive.

Filled up with gas and got a pizza at a convenience store. Then drove on to Oklahoma.

Not very walkable, and overbuilt and tackily built.

If there had just been some planning during growth they could have created a nice pedestrian area among all of the theaters. But they didn't.

That's sort of what they tried to do with Branson Landing, but it's way out of the way and it's really just an outdoor shopping mall.

Really? Much cleaner up north in MN/WI/MI. And thousands of more options, including the biggest lakes in the world.

Branson? Never been there. Always thought it would be fun to spend a weekend taking in some cheese...maybe some day, Yakov Smirnoff, maybe some day...

MN/WI/MI is way too cold for me. The farthest north I will go is Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, or Ohio.
