Here is the city (or metro area that I want)

The state it is in should:
Be a right to work state
Be preferably a red state, but a swing state will do
Be a shall issue state for guns
Have stand your ground laws

The metro
Core city should have 75k people or more
City can go blue since most of them do
Good older housing stock in close suburbs
Some kind of public transport at least for commuting
Local history
Doesn't get too hot
At least 70% Caucasian non-Hispanic

Perhaps Boise or Coeur D'Alene Idaho?

Anywhere else?

No need to argue w me you aren't gonna change my views. I am looking for a place to live that's good for ME!

Fort Wayne, the Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati, Lexington, and Evansville would fit this criteria.
