Crime ridden parts of the south side, Decatur, or East St. Louis. Although I don't really think many in Chicago consider the Illinois suburbs of St. Louis "Illinois". Illinois ends once you're south of I 80 . Maybe south of Cermak if you're insanely pretentious.
Albany, Salem, Medford. Which is actually decent news for them because they are revelant, unlike the "armpit" areas of Eastern Oregon that are not only lame but also not even memorable enough to be criticized.
I know nothing about GA and the only thing I know about Augusta is the Masters so to an outsider I say it has a pretty good reputation.
Lived there 2 years after college before moving back to NC. I'm not going to bash it since that just ain't my thing, but even the natives were calling it disgusta, part of that is because of a mix between the paper factory and beef factory on the river makes the whole place smell.

Hmmm. I've never heard of either of those cities being criticized. Now Roseburg, Klamath Falls, and Grants Pass on the other hand....

Those are basically all just less populated versions of the cities I had earlier mentioned (except Klamath which probably sinks even lower than the others). I still shudder when I recall driving in to Klamath Falls and having to scrape all the millions of swamp bugs and flies that got stuck to the windshield...
Are you from Oregon? I would be suprised if you had heard of the cities you mentioned if you are from out of state but not Albany/Salem/Medford. If you aren't from here I'd be curious to know how you know of those places haha
