Not in the US but Quebec City is a good one. Montpelier, VT, is another in that region (someone already mentioned Burlington and Portland, ME). Don't forget Saint Augustine, FL, and San Juan, PR. Also, Wilmington, NC, was great!
I like Ft Worth a lot, actually, but how in the !%&**(^&! is it in any way Picturesque, which is the topic of this thread??? I would say the same for most of your other listings, as well. I realize that over 50% of the areas you list on every thread are in Texas, and the rest are always in the South (often with one ringer/token semi-northern location), but this is fairly ridiculous...
Have you been to the Fort Worth Stockyards? Have you been to the arts district? Have you been to the outlying neighborhoods to the west of Fort Worth? If you have - you'd know what I mean when I say Fort Worth is picturesque. It's got a fun, funky ambiance. It really doesn't matter to me whether you can see it or appreciate it, or think it's picturesque because the OP was asking for our personal opinions and it's my opinion that Fort Worth has some VERY picturesque areas.
As for my other listings and your disagreement about them - all I have to say about that is that your dislike for the South in general and Texas in particular is blatant and well known on this forum, so it's no surprise to me that you disagree with my opinion on this. And I really couldn't care less.
Not sure what you saw in Fort Worth, but i consider anything in this part of Texas as not picturesque!
I've been to Fort Worth countless times. I don't live very far away from it. See above post for what I appreciate and consider picturesque about Fort Worth.
You don't have to agree - it really doesn't matter if we agree or not on this.
Some other NY communities that come to mind are Sackets Harbor on Lake Ontario and Clayton, which is nearby in the 1000 Islands. Sackets Harbor has a Historic Battlefield and state parks with a beach nearby. Clayton has a Boat museum and is near Boldt Castle. There are wineries in that area as well. There's this too: Great Lakes Seaway Trail
Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard and Hyannis on Cape Cod also come to mind.
