Top 5 in each sport.

NBA, MLB, MLS, NFL, NHL, College Football.

What cities have the best facilities?

I don't know enough about NBA or NHL, but if I had to choose one from each I'd choose Dallas' arena for NBA and Minnesota for NHL. For NFL it's hard to deny the new Dallas Stadium for the Cowboys, but I prefer classics to modern stadiums and in that realm it's probably Lambeau Field. For MLB (which is the epitome for sports stadiums, IMO), I like Wrigley Field as the best stadium, followed very closely by Fenway Park. For modern ballparks, it's hard to beat Pittsburgh's PNC Park or Camden Yards, but there are so many noteworthy stadiums in MLB that it's very hard to choose a top 5 or top 10!

I think Arizona has really nice venues for them not to have the best of teams. The Cardinal's stadium (University of Phoenix Stadium) in Glendale, AZ is super nice. Chase Field in Phoenix where the DBacks play is also a pretty nice venue. The US Airways Center where the Suns play is just an average arena (but still nice) but it's definitely not the best of the best arena out there.

If you count the surrounding French Quarter, CBD, and Champions Square, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is tough to beat for the NFL. If we are talking strictly about the stadium, then it's a different story but the neighborhood makes the venue as well. Count in the New Orleans Arena (NBA) as well.

Pittsburgh is up there. PNC Park, Heinz Field and Console Energy Center are all top notch facilities and newer facilities. PNC Park is one of my favorite stadiums I have had the chance to visit for a game.

Seattle also has some nice facilities between Safeco Field and Century Link Field.

New York has some new facilities between Citi Field, Yankee Stadium and Met Life Stadium, plus MSG is getting a complete overhaul.

Philadelphia is another city with new facilities that are pretty good. Citizens Bank is one of the better stadiums I've been to.

Now that the Metrodump is about to be gone, and Target Center is getting renovated, I'd say MN is high on the list.

Century link field easily for MLS and it should be in the top 5 for NFL aswell. Cool architecture, loudest stadium in America!
