Who would or could walk by a homeless child freezing on a cold city sidewalk? Could you?

The Freezing Homeless NYC Child!

Now, this is what's wrong with the world - period!

'Love they neighbor.' - Jesus Christ.

Does it really take the homeless to help the homeless?

Morning, thinkalam!

Having traveled much of the world, I don't see this as a monetary issue. The same indifference to the suffering of others can be witnessed in every major city, as well as smaller towns, and sometimes even in villages.

The phenomenon isn't restricted to capitalist regimes either.

What we're seeing here is apathy - the opposite of love.

We no longer love our neighbor as ourselves, and we haven't for some time, but it's stepping up to critical levels and visibly worsening with each passing season.

The human race, regardless of its politics or country, appears to have lost its humanity.

What's worse; the human race is you and I.

Would you have walked by that child?

It's up to each of us to love him - or pass him by.

What have we become, in your eyes?

Blessings,

Mahrie.
