I don't like Buzzfeed, in general, but according to some of the reponses to this article, they could have added, "Super uptight" to the sterotypes of some states.

Hell, my own state, New Mexico, got a ridiculously off-base sterotyping in this article, but my panties stayed well pressed. Nary a twist.

Yeah, NM's was kind of harsh even for a joke.

New Jersey doesn't have strip clubs. They have go-go (clothed) bars that serve alcohol and a few nude bars that cannot serve alcohol... both are equally boring.

Kinda sucks when compared to other states I've lived in.

I know this is for fun, but I am totally sick of the marijuana jokes about Colorado.

No kidding. American provincialism at its usual.

Total BS. There's no way North Dakota is better than South Dakota. Our state motto is "at least we're not North Dakota." Also, I'm from Nebraska and I have my own denim jacket and my dad doesn't own a convenience store. LOL

The state I live in now has no authority to say anything about me, nor do any of the dozen I previously lived in.

I've lived in both Oregon and Louisiana. In fact, the whole time I lived in Oregon, I had Louisiana plates on my car. What does that say about me? Besides that I am a scofflaw.

It is beyond stereotyped and completely wrong.

I have lived in 15 different states and none of what was said in that article is true in all of those 15 states.
Not everyone who lives in Illinois thinks "Chicago" is all that and more.
Not everyone who lives in Iowa wears "overalls"
Not everyone.........etc. etc.

That is a few minutes of my life wasted reading that mess I will never get back.

It was all in good fun, not meant to be taken so seriously.
Geez, you people are mean sometimes.

I wouldn't take it personal, CD has some of the stupidest people in the world on this site. I thought it was pretty funny although some of the stereotypes were off base in some of the states.
