Lol you killed this thread with the mention of Philadelphia. What is with this thinking that Philly is hip and cool. It is just a dreadful place compared to Boston.

I would recommend anywhere in the Bay Area. I'm personally not a huge fan of Berkeley and I don't think the population is as attractive as SF for example.

Do you really think conservatives are more open-minded than liberals on average? Sure, liberals can be close-minded with regards to certain issues, but I think liberals tend to be much more open-minded about most issues than conservatives.
