okay so basically I'm living at my moms house on the east coast, I wont say exactly where...and it's time now for me to live on my own permanently.

The thing is that I'm super lazy and haven't had a job in years, or haven't been in school, etc., and dont really want to do either of those things anymore. All I'm really inclined to do is play guitar and stuff, and I'm just professionally lazy, but also highly artistic. I'm so lazy that I'm really considering homelessness as a viable option.

But... is there any state I can go to and expect to get help with an apartment? because I have only a small amount of cash. I mean there is something called welfare right? the state I live in now has a proper system of cash assistance for individuals, and I want to go somewhere that also has a proper system in place. Maybe most every state does have this in place? I don't know, I have to make phone calls I guess. I think not every state has a good system in place, which is what I really need to find out. I think if I could roll with some cash assistance, it would be enough to pay for a place to live for a while.

But the states I'm really interested in moving to on the west coast would be Oregon, maybe even Utah...and if I stayed on the east coast probably connecticut, vt, NH, mass...and if south I could probably roll with North carolina or Virginia...I might even go for wisconsin if it was chill, but lets be honest probably not. I mean honestly my true self would rather just head to europe and call it a day, but I don't know if its that easy. But overall, my question is what state can I go to and get help with paying for an apartment and not be stuck on the streets questioning my life.

Stay where you are and let your Mother and your own state continue to support you.

we did play this game, but I didn't get the real quality information I was looking for. Plus I was a still a little confused myself about what I was actually asking. Now I am not confused whatsoever, I just need some hard information.

Why should we as a society help you when you're "too lazy" to work? Seriously!?! Welfare in any state is not meant to be a long term solution for the able bodied. It's meant to get you over the hump of a bad break. What you want is a life long free ride, and thankfully you'll have trouble finding that anywhere. Buck up little boy, and do your part like everyone else. Your mother has been providing a home for you for long enough and truthfully enabling your behavior. She should be involved in this thread too for your own good.

Edit: One option is always prison. Three square meals and a place to sleep. You might even get lucky and find a boyfriend. The more I think about it, prison may be your best option. It'll keep you off the forum if nothing else.

This guy is trolling I think, this mentality is why America is the predicament it is in, everyone wants a free ride. Most Americans especially the younger generations want to be rich and start at the top, this is not Hollywood this is real life. Even with a college degree a lot of Americans still only make 10-15 an hour. Welcome to the new America pal.
