Big City...and Los Angeles. Sunshine, palm trees, movie stars, parties up in the Hollywood Hills, freeways and fancy cars.

I would like to live in a city but a small town has its perks, too.

Definitely a big city. I grew up in a town of 23,000, and it was the largest town for an hour in any direction by far. It sucked beyond belief. I now live in a city of 1.6 million, and to me its absolute paradise in comparison. I get the appeal of why people like smaller towns, but it just isn't my thing in any way, shape, or form.

Smallish area with a good job market commutable to larger city for dining out, sports, etc - preferably less than two hours away.

Rural area but be at least 30 minutes away from a big city so I can have access to the stores and shops.

I could go either way, but it depends on the small city/town in regards to proximity to a bigger city.
