That is not true in Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc.

It is in this one. The Bears are the number 1 team in Chicago. San Francisco is difficult. I would guess it's equal between the Niners and Giants.

That's why I said majority.

LA isn't a sports town. There are so many things to do there sports is an afterthought, more of a date night deal.

The only slam dunk Baseball towns from your list is Boston and NY. But those are huge market cities so NFL isn't going anywhere.

I've always thought of NYC as more of a baseball town, with the Yankees as the #1 sports team. And I'm saying this as a Mets fan.

But every sport is big in NY since we are such a large market and have such a large number of teams.

Tell that to the Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers, and Kings fans. I trust you know very little about LA.

The Bears may be number 1 to football fans but the Cubs are number 1 to the city.

I don't agree with that at all.

St. Louis doesn't have more than 2 teams right now or in the near future for several reasons. But being a baseball town (which it is) is NOT the reason.

That is absurd and just proves that you don't know anything about LA.

The Rams didn't lose support because of the Cardinals. The Rams lost support because they were abysmal for a decade. LA has learned this the hard way, and the city has given them the cold shoulder much faster than St. Louis ever did.

Additionally St. Louis has a long history when it comes to soccer. MLS in St. Louis would have likely been popular.

Maybe due to all the bandwagon fans post-World Series win, but a survey was conducted back in 2015 and the most popular team in town by a long shot was the Bears. The Blackhawks and Bulls were also more popular than the Cubs. The rivalry with the White Sox splits baseball fans in the city.
