- Expand to 32 with Montreal and Portland.
- Require Tampa and Colorado to switch leagues for better alignment.
- Give the A's and TB ultimatums to figure out their ballpark deals or relocate to cities that can build new ones.
...Either Charlotte, Austin, or Mexico City for the Rays - and San Jose, Sacramento, or Riverside/San Bernadino for the A's.

For NBA, Id move the Clippers to Seattle, and get rid of the East-West conference alignment. 5 divisions of six teams preserves most of the rivalries and spreads the stronger teams out. Then I'd change the season to go from Christmas to August, and shrink the playoffs to 12 teams.

For the NHL, Id contract all (or most of) the warm weather teams, and add 3 more Canadian teams. [Not totally convinced myself on this alignment, but think 27 or 28 teams would make the league better]
I would definitely keep Dallas at least for the NHL. They still have lots of fans there but the ownership has been disastrous but it's slowly coming back around. Not to mention, there's lots of money to be made with a metro approaching 8 million in population.

I guess you could exhume Jimmy Fox, Al Simmons, Mickey Cochrane, and Connie Mack, while you're at it...

Here's what I think the MLS 32-team league will be:

CSAs Represented
  1. Atlanta
  2. Austin (fait accompli at this point, unfortunately)
  3. Boston
  4. Chicago
  5. Cincinnati (#25/26)
  6. Dallas/Fort Worth
  7. Denver
  8. Detroit (#27/28)
  9. Houston
  10. Kansas City
  11. Los Angeles FC
  12. Los Angeles Galaxy
  13. Miami (#24)
  14. Minneapolis
  15. Montreal
  16. Nashville (#27/28)
  17. New York FC
  18. New York Red Bulls
  19. Orlando
  20. Philadelphia
  21. Phoenix (#29/30)
  22. Portland
  23. Sacramento (#25/26)
  24. Saint Louis (#31/32)
  25. Salt Lake City
  26. San Diego (#31/32)
  27. San Francisco/San Jose
  28. Seattle
  29. Tampa (#29/30)
  30. Toronto
  31. Vancouver
  32. Washington/Baltimore

Those that miss out: Charlotte, Indianapolis, Raleigh, San Antonio

With the NHL a few things, 1) TB, NASH, DAL should 100% keep their teams 2) Hamilton could never get a team because of Buffalo and Toronto objecting (its within 50 miles of Both) 3) I don't think Tor should be cut off from Bos/Mtl because that's their top 2 rivals

I wouldn't mind a team back in Hartford but I highly doubt it because we're squeezed between 2 massive markets. The Northeast is done with expansion IMO.

Yeah, it was a shame that the Whalers moved to Raleigh
