Liar! I'm coming to see for myself in a couple weeks.

I haven't seen enough ranges to say which is the most spectacular. However, I assume it's hard to beat Alaska. Still, I think all mountains are beautiful in their own way. I would love to see more of the West, but I'd also love to see the Appalachians, Blue Ridge, etc.

Strange Montana is missing. I feel every Western state should be included in this poll. Montana has amazing mountains.

Bigger is not necessarily better... I find the more human scale of the lower 48 peaks more aesthetically appealing than Alaska's mountains. I like the contrast between the mountains and the lush valleys and deserts. Though this thread is about which mountains are most impressive, not most beautiful. So in that case it probably would be one of Alaska's mountain ranges.
