I think California, Washington, and Oregon do. They have been doing the basic design for 25+ years now. How about something different? Plus, all three states use blue numerals against white. This can't be helpful for police agencies. I would like to see some creative new designs for all three west coast states. Are there others who have outlived their usefulness? Perhaps Colorado, or Minnesota?

Honestly, I'm getting tired of all these states changing their license plates every five years. Make a simple, distinctive design and stick with it.

Saw an ugly yellow tag on a car the other day while on I-75, but could not make out the state. Any state with a yellow tag needs to change it lol.

How is California's dark blue lettering against a white background difficult to see?
I cringe and distance myself every time I see a California license plate. They are easy to spot. Usually the car going 10 under or 30 over, in two lanes at once and refuses to turn right on reds.

I think it would be fun if for people who collect classic cars, that each state used a remake of the license plate the year their collector car came from.

I don't think Maryland needs to change its design per say. They just need more options to choose from.

New Yorks new plate is ugly... I liked the old blue/white with Niagara Falls and NY skyline!

I actually like NM's plates so distinctive.

I like how Virginia has such a huge variety of tags. Keeps things fresh.

Agreed-don't know why they changed it.

MA and PA seem like the plates haven't been changed in decades.
