I've been to the Twin Cities, and liked it a lot. It is very green.

However, it doesn't compare to Atlanta in this category. No other place I've ever been does. We have neighborhoods that look like National Parks, with massive old growth trees upwards of 200 + feet tall. It is very unique for a major City in that respect.

I'm not surprised to see Coral Gables and Coconut Grove on that list. Those places are LUSH!, especially Coconut Grove.

Can't believe Boston hasn't been mentioned. I've spent time in almost every major city in the US and aside from Atlanta (where I lived for 7 years), Boston would rank #2 in my opinion. The actual city is very dense compared to Atlanta, so there are not as many trees in Boston proper vs Atlanta proper. However, the suburbs of Boston have way more trees than Atlanta suburbs do.

4-way intersection just outside the train station in Wellesley that I use everyday to get into Boston. The # of trees you see here is very typical of most Boston suburbs.
