Proving that we don't blow up the world ourselves or a meteor does it for us in the next 11 years but here it goes.
The 250th anniversary is now drawing close. If we follow the previous major milestone the bicentennial back in 1976, we need to begin plans now to design events and celebrations.
How should it be celebrated? A new landmark or statue? Some new tradition? Something else?
Tell the world we are having a huge party and invite the leaders of every country to attend, tell them to bring gifts and once we receive the gifts tell them the party is over and go home.
By breaking up into smaller regional countries that represent the values of that region. We are all too different to share the same country.

For all those who live here and want this country broken up. How bout you just leave and go someplace more fitting for you. Every part of this country needs every other part. We are also no different and we share the same culture. Yes, the south is not really any different then the northeast, except a bit less snow.
And another point for those wishing. How long do you think you'll live in any kind of peace if the US splits up? Really? There are many out there who want to destroy us but together we are a strong nation. If broken up I can guarantee an invasion from some wackjob in another country. And you won't have the strength of the modern day US military to back you up.
Face it, all our regions work together. And quite well really.

Nope, not anymore. The US govt is a failed govt that is dysfunctional in every way. We are just too different. The South is a far right wing Christian theocracy in the making. We in the Northeast want nothing to do with that. We'll be fine apart from each other. If need be we can form alliances in times of war. I want nothing to do with the South and their far right wing politics and heavy duty mixing of religion and govt. Have you heard Huckabee lately. Good riddance.
