South and west in that order.. West is scenic but becoming over crowded.. South is the newly developing rapidly changing part..

I suspect that the harvest in Kansas is over now, but vast fields of golden winter wheat can actually be a pretty impressive sight. Once they've been cut down though, Kansas isn't much to look at..

Kansas is not pretty...it is straight up stunning, anytime, all the time. Some people just aren't well-equipped to understand that kind of beauty. It's a character flaw.

Northeast is not getting any love. I would vote West and especially California if I could afford it, the South is amazingly affordable and scenic and the Southern Cities are more fun that people think like Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, Dallas, Orlando, Tampa and Miami.

the south, grew up in the southwest but i love the south and all it's history, beautiful old buildings, landscapes, people, etc...the furthest north i've been is philly and pittsburgh and those were great places too, and the people were fun and nice as well!

It wasn't an option, but I am biased toward the Great Lakes region.
