these are all 18th and early 19th century examples from my hometown, Sainte Genevieve, Mo. All small, to be sure, but charming!

I actually really like the stucco houses in the Southwest and parts of Florida. A lot of new subdivisions I've seen around Las Vegas, Miami, and in Southern California are really pleasant with the large stucco homes, palms trees, and a nice swimming pool in the backyard.

we have about a gabillion of these in Fl....... its called California contemporary..... I HATE this style!


This is the "normal" style down here for newer homes. Kind of cookie cutter/fake but I guess it's more pleasant looking than some of the other newer suburbs and at least the construction quality is decent.
