Very nice Plains. I haven't been down there for over a year so I forgot what those areas look like, but now that I see the Corporate Woods area I remember passing through that area quite a few times if it's right near a freeway.

We have a new thoroughfare that just went up for development in the North Suburb of Ankeny in Des Moines, and they named it Corporate Woods Dr, kind of makes me wonder if they are trying to copy KC. Eh who knows..

Oh and although I agree with you that Olathe/O.P. was very *beige* .. I have to admit I'm biased towards the Garmin building because I just purchased a garmin for my SUV.

Corporate Woods is located south of the I-435 beltway highway in Overland Park. It is one of the MOST crowded areas of the metro in terms of traffic density and congestion. That area has become increasingly urbanized over the years considering it started out rather suburban.
Garmin is one of the companies based in the KC metro area that has done very well lately. I know someone who works there, and they have really been innovative over the past couple of years.
