When I answered the poll, I thought it meant a LOCAL sister city...but I was right both ways. It does have a "related" city in some other country, but I never cared much what or where it was. I'm an AMERICAN, and this is the only country I worry about.

Des Moines has five on this list:

1.) Kofu, Japan
2.) Shijiazhuang, China
3.) Naucalpan, Mexico
4.) Stavrpol, Russia
5.) Saint-Étienne, France

However, I'm not sure this list is completely accurate, they are missing a lot of other towns in the state and I know for a fact have sister-cities... Oh well, those are the ones listed for me!

ok, I must be confused, but what does being an American, and only caring about America, have to do with sister cities?
Please enlighten us.....

Our town has Rotorua, New Zealand. Surprisingly, our state has more than I thought it would.
