I'm currently in Columbus and I moved from Brooklyn. I like Columbus, but the seasons can be so radical from year to year that I've grown tired of the city. I'm young, so night life is a plus. Concealed carry friendly states are also a plus. My job can basically relocate me anywhere within the United States within the next year or two, so I'm VERY open to any state, as I don't have anything tying me down. I've been looking into Seattle, Phoenix, and Atlanta.

Basically, I'm looking for all year motorcycle riding weather. The main things I'm trying to stay away from are high cost of living, extreme hot or cold, as well as snow or frequent downpours, mist and overcasts are okay, though. I really do like temperatures between 40 and 75 all year round. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Seattle--COL too high
Phoenix--temperatures too high
Atlanta--maybe?

Also, sounds like you will need a red state to carry a gun

Any suggestions on other cities in the U.S.? I'm heavily considering Phoenix at this point. I'll probably take a vacation there next summer just to make sure that I can stand the heat. My main concern is with cities that have relatively high humidity AND heat all year round.

You could look at Austin, TX and Las Vegas, NV.

Austin has nightlife, young people
Las Vegas has nightlife, no humidity

Albuquerque, NM, Nightlife, young people, No humidity, I like to think it a goldylocks zone, not too hot, not too cold (It's south but a lot higher than Denver and much higher than Phoenix), excellent food, clean air and mountain views. Drawbacks: centepedes, hobos, crazy cops, bears, 5 in. snow annual.

The only place really like that is Seattle and Portland (on average). I'd look into Seattle, PDX, and the Bay area.

He wants to be able to carry a gun, legally! Liberal areas won't cut it.

People choose locations to live based on criteria important to them.. That isn't anything surprising.

I'm not sure you specified a big city, if not, then seriously look at Medford, Oregon, or even Eugene, OR, for temps that are more mild than Seattle or Portland. Redding, CA, too, but then you are into that CA mentality, and higher taxes.
