Rocky Mountain-It's close. Mesa Verde-not too far and unique. Cuyahoga Valley-a lesser known park that is really neat. Assateague National Seashore-cuz I like the beach. Shenandoah-nice mountains.

Yosemite, I absolutely love the place and for me it's what you think of when you think of the outdoors and parks. I love the valley and the views from above of the valley. I'll also mention Zion and Olympic as close second place finishers for me. I love the hikes in Zion and the kind of compactness of the park, if that makes sense. Olympic is just a unique setting for me and I love the temperate forests, mountains, and ocean combo.

I haven't been to all the others but I've heard great things about Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Redwood, Glacier, Denali, Arches, and the Volcanic-related parks in Hawaii. All of these can differ quite a bit so it's quite hard to compare but I can think of some preferences when it comes to the choices.

I picked the ones I've been too so far. And I've liked them all. I'm planning to go see all of them one day!

So far the absolute favorite is Glacier Bay.

The only one I've ever seen with my own eyes is Guadalupe Mountains.

I am from Colorado, so I might be biased to say Rocky Mountain and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. So, I put those and Acadia (Maine), Yosemite (California), Yellowstone (Wyoming, Montana, Idaho), Denali (Alaska), and Great Smoky Mountains (Tennessee and North Carolina).

I voted for Acadia, Bryce, Glacier, Rainer, mesa verde. I have been to a number of these and none of them have been a let down.

Grand Canyon is my favorite big league park. Olympic and Saguaro are my favorite lesser known parks.

Big Bend,, one of the few where you can get to a spot in a car and be alone and quiet, and hear no man-made sounds, even at the busiest time of the year. The true value of the national park system. Last time I was there, you couldn't even get a cellphone signal from the park headquarters.

Joshua Tree is also peaceful, I'm surprised so many people picked that. I haven't been there since it changed over from Monument to Park status.
