Places you don't care if you ever see again and WHY.
Arkansas, not my kind of place, chiggers, wild, place where you might want to camp but I HATE camping.
Wyoming, I don't care for places with so little in them. We stopped at a convenience store there that was ALSO the post office. I can't stand wind and I can't stand snow.
Colorado, it was pretty the first time but still not my kind of place. I don't care for high altitudes, I don't care for the weather and the dryness. Again with the camping, no thanks.
Nevada, I don't gamble, I was a little shocked the first time I was in Reno. The bright lights, prostitutes on the street, slot machines, it all seemed very desperate for a sheltered girl like me. When we were driving I saw signs saying to NOT pick up hitch hikers BECAUSE THERE IS A PRISON THERE AND THEY ARE AFFRAID IT WILL BE AN ESCAPED PRISONER. There is so little there they used to test nuclear bombs there, what more can be said honestly.
Oregon/Washington, I don't care for rain and greay weather as much as they have it there. Yes its pretty for all the moisture they have, the gardens are pretty but its just NOT my thing. Of course they also get alot of snow.

Yea, Hawaii might be a nice place to visit but I couldn't live there. I NEED to be closer to civilization.

Fort Benning Georgia.
I went through the gas chamber there.
Forty two years later, I'm still coughing.

We have those in parts of California... I've seen one up in Northern CA, somewhere around Red Bluff, I think. Scary, huh?
As for the places I'd not care to see again, here's my list:
Louisville, KY - I got dumped there on a flight from Baltimore to Chicago (connecting to SF), due to a tornado... it crossed our path shortly after landing, so I ended up having to spend the night. It actually had some nice scenery from above, but I don't think it's a place I'd return on purpose. Though I must say, the few people I met were very nice!
Southern Idaho - Drove all the way across southern Idaho (through Boise), and spent the night in Idaho Falls... it started to get pretty near Wyoming, but the rest was too flat & dry for my taste.
Eastern Oregon (La Grande, Pendleton) - Had some nice looking hills in La Grande, but the rest was ultra boring. Plus I almost hit 2 kids, who were playing freeway "chicken" in the middle of nowhere... it was like a scene from Children of the Corn. Guess they have nothing better to do out there, LOL.
Florida - I've been there a million times, and won't rush to go back anytime soon. It has some cool stuff to offer, but the weather is just too stifling for me!
New Haven, CT - Stopped on my way from Boston to NYC, to see a friend at Yale... didn't impress me one bit - in fact, it scared me a little. There is some beautiful architecture on campus, though.
Most of NV - I've driven all the way up & across this state, and it has NOTHING outside of the "big" cities. We drove for literally 5 hours in one stretch, without seeing anything but a few trailers and maybe 2 gas stations. Has anyone read Stephen King's Desperation?

Reason: Oops... I meant New Haven, not Hartford!

I also hate Florida- it's really an uncivilized state. The most horrendous heat, rough towns, absolutely no building/ sprawl regulations- a complete mess of a state & I especially can't stand Tampa Bay. Southern California is waaaay better in my opinion, for a hotspot.
I'll add Salt Lake City (boring) & Buffalo, NY (rundown) to the "No Thank You" list...Outside the U.S.A, there's a handful of British cities & Ottawa, Canada that are absolutely "you don't wanna know"
